one that I would recommend to graduate clinical psychology and neuropsychology students to alert them to the interface between clinical neuropsychology and cognitive science, and to ensure that they draw upon their psychology background in assessing patients, rather than simple clinical custom and practice ... those wanting a more explicitly cognitive underpinning to clinical practice would benefit form the text by Margolin. The goal of this book is to introduce cognitive neuropsychology to a broad audience of clinicians and researchers. Sufficient introductory material is provided, and each topic is explored in enough depth to serve as a reference for cognitive psychologists and cognitive neuropsychologists. The editor has assembled a prominent group of researchers and clinicians to describe how the vocabulary, theoretical framework, and information-processing models of cognitive psychology are applied to various disorders of higher cortical function.
