About the Editor Avery Wiener Katz is an economist and a lawyer. He is currently Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches law and economics, contracts, and commercial law. He has written on a variety of topics in both contract law and the economics of litigation, and has also written on commercial guaranties and the methodology of law and economics.
