Paperback. Zustand: As New. Our Natural History by Daniel Botkin (ISBN: 0195168291) Oxford University Press, presumably proud of it. ð" Offered by Crappy Old Books , where even the raccoons in the attic get nostalgic. Part memoir, part ecological meditation, and part philosophical meander through the woods, Our Natural History is Daniel Botkin?s thoughtful take on how we think about nature ? not as a static postcard, but as something wild, changing, and very much alive (unlike some of the other books we sell). Expect musings on everything from forests to fieldwork, with enough science to feel clever but not enough to require a lab coat. This copy? It?s seen things. A bit scuffed, maybe a note in the margin or two (possibly insightful, possibly deranged ? who are we to judge?). But it?s still bound, readable, and packed with the sort of intellectual nourishment that makes you forget the cover?s a little wonky . Perfect for ecologists, philosophers, tree-huggers, or anyone wondering if humans are just another blip in nature?s strange experiment. Condition like new. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 4098
