Rich Seifert, President of Networks and Communications Consulting, was one of the original developers of the 10 Mb/s Ethernet. During his two decades of experience in the field of LANs, Mr. Seifert has been responsible for the architecture and design of a wide range of network products. He was a developer and coauthor of the Fast Ethernet specification, both chair and editor of the IEEE 802.3x Full-Duplex/Flow Control standard, and is an active participant in the IEEE 802.3z Gigabit Ethernet Task Force.
