Inhaltsangabe

Metropolitan Museum Journal represents a richly illustrated study of well-known works in the Museum's collections, including pieces not on permanent display, selections from important exhibitions that have visited the Museum, and related works in other collections. Reflecting the breadth and depth of the Museum's encyclopedic collections, the Journal's range expands as the Museum grows.

Volume 30 features essays on dating the Heliopolis fragment, the seven shields of Behaim, busts of children in renaissance Florence, Ribera's drawing of Niccola Simonelli, two Valadier candelabra, and an English armor made for the King of Portugal.
