Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Armin K. Lobeck (1886-1958) was professor of geology at Columbia University. During World War I he was a member of the geographical section of the American Committee to Negotiate Peace and designed and prepared maps that were used at the Versailles peace conference. He also founded the Geographical Press.
