Critic, translator, essayist, and gay man, Édouard Roditi (1910–1992) was a singular witness to the twentieth century. Robert Schwartzwald, professor in the Department of Literatures and Languages of the World at the Université de Montréal, is the author of the Queer Film Classics book on Jean-Marc Vallée’s C.R.A.Z.Y. Sherry Simon, distinguished professor emerita at Concordia University, is the author and editor of several books including Speaking Memory: How Translation Shapes City Life.
