Inhaltsangabe

A top aide to Martin Luther King, Jr. and one of history's most important civil rights leaders, Andrew Young has witnessed history and made his own. For years, he has been mentoring his godson, Kabir Sehgal, in correspondence and conversation. This book encapsulates that mentoring, and presents Young's thoughts and meditations on such important topics as civil rights and the American Dream. A living Tuesdays with Morrie, this inspirational and inter-generational discourse addresses issues of justice and leadership. 'This book is my attempt to humbly pass along a few anecdotes, life lessons, and insights to prepare you for the long journey ahead,' Young says. 'I submit these to you in hopes that this battle-tested voice from yesterday can help shape the thoughts and beliefs of your generation as you will the next.'
