Stated AS " First published in 1988 by Andre Deutsch Limited". 1988 is the only year on copy right page, hence this is a first. Profusely illustrated by Andrew Tiffen with B&W line drawings on nearly every page. Michael Rosen received the Eleanor Farjeon Award for distinguished service to Children's Literature in 1997 and was the fifth British Children's Laureate (2007 to 2009). Interior pages are bright and clean; NO writing nor any tears, or creases . Not an ex-lib or remainder. Binding firm. Glossy illustrated covers are clean and bright. No DJ.
