The Governor Square Extension of the Boylston Street Subway was completed and officially opened to public travel on October 24.
The construction of this project was begun on July 21, 1930, and completed one year in advance of the estimated time and within the limit of agreed upon by the City and the Boston Elevated Railway Company as the cost for rental purposes.
