IT has been stated in the title-page that the following Narrative is authenticated by J. Wesley's own hand-writing but the poetry appended to the Manuscript (which is a summary of the whole affair), is all that remains of the Original, the body of the work being a copy only. In further confirmation of the genuineness of this curious Tract it may be added, that the subordinate particulars tally, in a remarkable manner, with his own printed Journal, in illustration of which, it will suffice to confine ourselves to the first six pages of the Narrative.
