Excerpt from Secretary's First Report: Harvard University, Class of 1897
In conclusion, let me express my personal thanks to all those who have met the frequent appeals of the Secretary with promptness and consideration. It is obvious that with out generous co-operation no adequate class records are possible. I urge upon all the necessity of ready response to the Secretary's future requests, to the end that our records may be complete and our class organization strengthened and preserved.
