Excerpt from Russellism or Rutherfordism: The Teachings of "the International Bible Students," Alias "Jehovah's Witnesses" In the Light of the Holy Scriptures
It is the custom in Jarvis Street Church during the summer months to hold a service out of doors following the evening service, when the pastor preaches again to a great crowd. On these occasions the ordinary crowds were augmented to the proportions of a multitude.
For a booklet such as this, these addresses might, without doubt, have been abbreviated. But they are re produced as they were originally printed in The Gospel Witness at the time because they carry with them the atmosphere and spirit of the great congregations to which they were delivered. The services were orderly; the only interruptions that took place are recorded in the text.

Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book presents a critical examination of the teachings of the International Bible Students Association, known as Jehovah's Witnesses. The author, a pastor and theologian, dissects their doctrines in light of the Holy Scriptures, particularly focusing on their interpretations of the person and work of Jesus Christ, the nature of the Bible, and the concept of the Second Coming. Set against the backdrop of the Witnesses' growing influence in the early 20th century, the book delves into their controversial views on Christ's divinity, His resurrection, and the atonement. The author meticulously analyzes their unique understanding of biblical interpretation, highlighting their claims of exclusive insight into Scripture. He challenges their assertions about Christ's nature as a created being, their denial of His physical resurrection, and their reinterpretation of His Second Coming. The book exposes the inconsistencies and contradictions within their teachings, urging readers to rely on the unadulterated Word of God and embrace the orthodox Christian faith. Ultimately, this book serves as a call to discernment and a defense of the core tenets of Christianity against the unorthodox interpretations of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
