Excerpt from Hand-Book of Christian Truth: A Guide for All That Wish to Know the Way of Salvation
In the writing of this little treatise we have had in mind two things: (1) to provide a brief, logical and suggestive state ment of Christian doctrine; (2) and to present the same in conformity to positive Lutheran teaching.
It has been our desire to present a statement of Christian truth in such form as Will, when properly used, facilitate the return, not only of the unsaved outside the church to a knowl edge of the saving truth, but those Within as well, to a deeper consciousness of its divine wealth. We aim to realize but one thing: the arousing of the mind and heart to serious thought upon the great fundamental facts of God's revelation.

Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book, a treatise on Christian beliefs, succinctly yet comprehensively expounds on the nature of the Bible, God, Man, and Salvation. The author, writing from a Lutheran perspective, draws from Scripture to explain the Bible as the inspired Word of God, uniquely containing His story of mankind's redemption through Jesus Christ. In exploring the nature of God, the book presents Him as a Trinity, a loving and holy Being who created humankind in His image. Sin, the author explains, entered the world when humanity chose to disobey God, resulting in their separation from Him and the corruption of their nature. However, the book goes on to offer hope in the state of grace, emphasizing that God, in His love, provided a way for humanity to be restored to fellowship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. The book concludes by discussing how, through the Holy Spirit, Christians can live in accordance with God's will, growing in faith and sanctification.
