Quelques personnes m'ont exprimé le désir de voir tirera part les articles que je viens de publier sur Beethoven dans la Revue musicale. Sans attacher une grande impor tance à ce travail qui n'avait d'abord été destiné qu'au journal dans lequel il a paru je pense que ces détails bio graphiques. Pour la plupart entièrement neufs, ne sont pas dépourvus d'intérêt. Je me suis donc décidé à en faire une brochure dont le produit sera consacré au monument de Beethoven.
