Metodo Queste deformità si riscontrano in tutte le regioni del corpo, e volendo darne partitamente la descrizione si può seguire l' ordinamento topografico, principiando dal capo e finendo coi piedi. Seguendo questo metodo si ha il vantaggio di rilevare alcuni caratteri differenziali e costanti che permettono di stabilire dei tipi (già da lungo tempo ammessi), l'importanza dei quali è maggiore per le differenze che presentano fra loro nella stessa. Sede, di quello che per le analogie con deformità di altre parti. E ciò dipende dalla circostanza che i caratteri offerti dai singoli tipi sono in gran parte in rapporto col modo spe ciale di sviluppo delle singole regioni, ed assai meno colle cause e coi processi teratologici che si possono ripetere in più luoghi.
