Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book, a sermon by Rev. A. B. Mackay, delves into the biblical passage where God forbids muzzling an ox while it is threshing grain. The text forms a foundation for a broader discussion on the responsibility of the Christian church to support its ministers, who are laborers in God's service, like the ox. The author positions this discourse within the context of the broader biblical narrative of God's care for his creatures and his commitment to providing for those who serve him. The sermon explores the importance of treating God's servants well and examines the themes of kindness, generosity, and the dignity of all God's creations. Concluding the sermon, the author emphasizes the significance of recognizing the sacred nature of the ministry and the duty of the church to ensure its ministers' well-being, echoing God's command to not muzzle the ox that treads out the corn.
