Sociology has failed in its attempt at bring ing the subject of warfare down to satisfactory conclusion. Psychology then took up the task, as a specialist, but without practical result. The reason for this is because sociology and psychol ogy belong largely to educational conviction. Warfare as an expression of natural law cannot be examined critica'lly excepting from its funda mentals in natural history.
