It con tains no more, nor less, than is needed for the sal vation of the soul, and was given by God for this very purpose; and the promise of the forgiveness Of sins and of eternal life rests upon the atoning blood of Christ, and obedience from the heart to all the commandments in the Bible given us to observe.
