Mais en rassemblant dans ce mémoire tous les monuments romains que j'ai pu étudier ou simplement noter, depuis les plus imposants jusqu'aux moindres fibules ou fragments de poterie, j'ai pensé rendre quelque service à l'archéologie, dus-sé - je ne fournir à la science que le catalogue exact, sinon complet, d'un musée qui n'existe pas.
