Excerpt from A Chicago Bible Class
True individualism tends to the truest universalism. Ordinary personalism tends to exclusiveness in favor of the one concerned. In the former position one sees that the inevitable sequence of cause and effect which is bearing him along with it to the fulfilling of his destiny, is bearing all mankind to the same end as well. In the other, one believes himself to be approaching a desired consummation which is impos sible for others.
The latter view tends to separation in thought, purpose and action the former, to unity of these, mak ing of mankind a veritable brotherhood, each member of which finds and holds his own place. He recognizes his relation to his brethren the while, holds his own views consequent upon his individual view of that which is abstract for all, yet knows that the individual views of others are the necessity for them, as are his for him, and that all, as one body, are march ing along the King's highway, the royal road to self knowledge.

Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book gives a fresh interpretation of the Adam and Jesus stories from Genesis, viewing them not as historical events but as representations of human consciousness. The author argues that we are all born with the Adam-like consciousness, characterized by a limited sense of self and a tendency to make mistakes. However, through experience and growth, we can evolve into the Jesus-like consciousness, which is characterized by a higher sense of self, a recognition of our interconnectedness, and the ability to overcome sin. This book offers a rational and accessible explanation of original sin, atonement, and redemption, free from the limitations of traditional theological dogma. It provides a framework for understanding our spiritual journey and our potential for growth and transformation.
