Le gouvernement pourra nommer trois personnes propres et compétentes, étant avocats du Bas Canada, comme commissaires chargés de codifier les lois de cette division dela Province, en matière civile, et deux personnes propres et compétentes, étant aussi avocats, comme secré taires de la commission, - dont l'un sera une personne dont la langue naturelle est la langue anglaise, mais qui sera bien versée dans la langue française, et l'autre sera une personne dont la langue naturelle est la langue fra Içaise, mais qui sera bien versée aussi dans la langue anglaise. 20 V.
