Most of the questions asked of the funeral director have been answered by myself from personal experience and observation, while some have been suggested by friends who are practical men of high standing in the profession. They will be found very valuable to the amateur funeral director and undertaker.
The questions on Sanitary Science, Disinfection and Dis infectants, have been arranged in order, and cover every ques tion that can in fairness be asked by any examining board, and the answers have been so worded as to convey to the stu dent all the information necessary in the pursuit of that part of his calling relating to sanitation and disinfection, and to enable him to convince the board that he is possessed of a sufficient knowledge of sanitary science, so important a part Of the education of the professional funeral director and embalmer.
Much more information can be gained by one day's study of this part of the work than can be obtained in a week by the perusal of the voluminous, complicated works called sanitary science, now on the market, some of which are clumsy Copies wholly lacking in originality.
