One third of a mile to the south, and nearer Brandon, is Fern Lake. This, too, is a lovely sheet of. Water. Many smaller lakes -and ponds are easily accessible from our village. In these lakes are found lake trout, pickerel, bass, perch, etc. While the speckled trout are also found in the moun tain streams. There is good hunting in season. Deer, fox, squirrel, partridge and water-fowl are found m abundance and occasionally a black bear or a wild cat is killed by a sportsman.
There are many other points of interest not. Herein mentioned which go to make this village a most attractive place to spend a summer or winter; a place, in fact,e a vacation at any season of the year. Come and see Brandon; you will be welcomed, and we think you will be charmed with its beauty and loveliness and will agree with us that it is the most beautiful village 111 New England.
