Not only may one spend more time than is profitable on this work, but unless care is exercised in the selection of the designs, all of the time spent may be wasted. Many inter esting figures that might be suggested for this purpose are so complicated that pupils cannot reasonably be expected to determine all of the lines by constructions already mastered.
