But for meny months pre vious to his deeth, the iete Jemoe Bicknell end the present writer collshoreted in the preperetion of the present Third Edition; the manuscript of the eelhe hsd been prepemd end to e Isrge extant revised, end the work was ectnelly' being put through the press, when Mr. Bicknell's lemented demise stayed ite progress end deleyed the publication.
In the work of completing the revision end supervieing the press work, the writer hes been ebiy eseieted by Mr. Alfred Bicknell, Berrieter et Lew, Toronto, brother of the lete James Bicknell.
