During the past year, in Durham, the Southern Conservatory of Music has moved to a large, modern building on the Alston. Avenue road; Trinity College has evolved into Duke University, with a future in sight of ranking as one of the largest and finest universities in the United' States, and has entered upon a building program unsurpassed by any college in the state; the Durham Business School has expanded its quarters and is now able to accommodate a larger number of students; a model city auditorium has been planned and is expected to be completed by next fall; the Educational Depart ment of the Woman's Club has begun the movement of supervising and selecting the children's movies at a special matinee once a week.
