Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into industrial energy requirements and the potential of agricultural cereal grains, especially wheat, in addressing these needs. The author examines the historical context of energy consumption and explores the challenges posed by dwindling fossil fuel reserves. The author then delves into the technical feasibility of producing ethyl alcohol from wheat and other cereal grains as a sustainable alternative fuel source. The potential environmental benefits of this approach are also explored, particularly in the reduction of air pollution. Additionally, the author discusses the economic implications of transitioning to cereal-based fuels and the potential impact on the agricultural industry. The book serves as a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, and anyone interested in sustainable energy solutions and the role of agriculture in meeting future energy demands.
