Ensuite le Congrès résolut d'envoyer un télégramme respectueux à Sa Majesté le Roi, qui assistait aux manoeuvres militaires ayant lieu au Nord de la Suède. A ce télégramme le Congrès reçut la réponse suivante: avec un merci Cordial pour le télégramme d'hom mage j'envoie au Congrès des Mathématiques mes meilleurs voeux.
