A neuf heures, Foch reçoit la délégation ennemie dans son train. Les Allemands placés autour de la table, le général Weygand va cher cher le maréchal. Foch arrive, s'arrête un instant sur le seuil, parcourt d'un regard circulaire l'assistance et fait le salut militaire.
