THE AUTHORS are staff members of the Center for Comprehensive Health Practice, Inc., (CCHP) an organization affiliated with New York Medical College. They have published numerous articles and authored works in a wide range of health-related fields--including community health systems, health policy, psychiatry, social work, and substance abuse. RICHARD BROTMAN, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CCHP, is an Associate Dean at New York Medical College. DAVID HUTSON, Operations Director of CCHP, is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and of Family Medicine. IRVING SILVERMAN, Research Director of CCHP, is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and of Family Medicine. FREDERIC SUFFET, Director of Program Evaluation of CCHP, is Instructor in Psychiatry at New York Medical College.
