Fabricius and forne other entomological writers have very minutely defcribed the Larva and Pupa Rate of this rare butterfly; the Larva feed on the leaves of the turnip, cabbage, and other plants of the fame genus it is of a yellow colour, with (pots of brown, head pale green. The Pupa is yellow, (potted with brown alfo o_, and has two teeth, or {harp points in the fore part.
