There are three plans of instruction and they may be used in the intermediate and grammar grades as well as in the primary grades. They are the class plan, the individual plan and the group plan.
The class plan: By this plan the teacher instructs the class as a whole. These class instructions should include positions at the desks, positions of the feet, positions of the bodies in the seats, positions of the arms on the desks, and a presentation of the lesson to the entire class.
