In the first 36 pages the soft r is designated by n instead of a, and in the composition of vowel-con sonants a new sign (a) is used for the usual sign (rr), thus: rm, rd, Gun, pd, instead of arr, and Gun. Throughout the rest of the grammar the latter forms only are used. After these pages had been struck off, several other letters of the same fount were improved.
