The book is divided into seven sections: The Subject and Predicate, The Article, The Pronoun, The Verb, The Adverb, The Preposition, and The Conjunction. The book is quite granular, beginning with the most basic construction of a sentence, before moving into more complicated constructions. Each rule or grammatical paradigm is illustrated with one or more examples from classical Greek authors, giving the learner a sense of how Greek was actually used. The book is aimed at students with some working knowledge of grammar and assumes a basic familiarity with the parts of speech and basic sentence construction.
