Larrey hat zuerst die Litteratur auf das Vorkommen dieses Bruches aus Anlass einer eigenen Beobachtung gründlicher durchforscht und das Resultat seiner Bemühungen in einem später gedruckten Vortrage*) in der Sitzung der kaiserlichen Akademie der Medicin zu Paris vom 9. März 1869 verofl'entlicht. Hier nach ist er zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass derselbe zwar immer noch zu den Ausnahmen.
