This Cook Book originated with the Inglenook magazine pub lished by the Brethren Publishing House, at Eglin, Ill., and was first issued in 1901. With few exceptions the recipes were cbn tributed by sisters of the Brethren Church whose names and ad dresses are given, in every instance. From the time the first copies were distributed nearly ten years ago the boo-k has been exceedingly popular with cooks and has enjoyed a wide circulation. Feeling that the popularity as well as the helpfulness of the book might be increased it has been revised, the work again being done by the Inglenook magazine. Not only have many new recipes been added, but several features which will commend it to the practical cook. While many of the recipes and suggestions are new, not having appeared in print before, no special claim is made to originality. The chief claim made is that the recipes have been tried and are.
