This book is a compilation of government reports from the late 18th century, concerning the rise of treasonous activity in Ireland and its connections to a possible French invasion. The author meticulously details the evolution of the plot, providing insights into the origins and intentions of the rebels, their methods of recruitment and organization, and their attempts to secure French support. The book offers a comprehensive analysis of this critical period in Irish history, shedding light on the complex interplay between political and religious grievances, foreign influence, and the repressive measures taken by the authorities to quell the unrest.
