Olm, mi Virgili, sic jubeat Deus tute ipse hunc librum sis forsan le'cturns. Tibi ergo prm omnibus inscriptum volo. Nam et tui gratia composui: et ut scriptores fete, quos ambinnt, dedicationibus aucupantur, sic te pater. Una enim sola excepts, omnium mihi tum curm tum gandli participe, et cui me quotidie et in home de vinctiorem habeo; illa sola excepta, quis est, nisi tu es, cum quo gratiam me potins inire decet? Et a quo plus expectationis habere possim, quam de te, dulcissime infintule, qui nunc e cunabulis, mattem tisn cognoscens, et ipse subridens amabiliter, parenti pectus tacitum novis pertentas gaudus; et qui mecum venturis annis, si posthac pariter hujus vitae tranemus aequor, adeo es unum futurus, ut uter sit pater vel filius.
