Among its successive conductors, were the eminent mathematicians, Simp son and Dr. Hutton; and in the list of its contributors are enrolled the names of many of the best mathematicians that England has ever produced; it is sufficient to mention Emerson, Simpson, Landen, Lawson, Vince, Hutton, Dalby, Major Henry Watson, Wales. And Mudge. It contains a great number of interesting and useful problems in all the branches of mathematics.
