Excerpt from Les Bourla-Papey Et la Révolution Vaudoise
Ce volume est le résultat de longues recherches. Les archives de plusieurs villes vaudoises, celles de Morges et d' Yverdon entre autres, ont fourni quelques rensei gnements intéressants. La plupart des pièces, corres pondances officielles et documents de tout genre sur cette époque se trouvent cependant à Berne, aux ar chives fédérales. Beaucoup, des plus importants, ont été publiés, ou le seront, dans la grande collection des Actes de l'helvétique que le gouvernement fédé ral fait paraître sous la direction du très savant et consciencieux D' Strickler. Je remercie vivement le service des archives fédérales, qui a bien voulu faci liter mes recherches et même m'adresser, sur la ques tion des Bourla - Papey, un nombre considérable de volumes de pièces originales et authentiques qui ne figurent pas toutes dans les Actes mais présentent parfois cependant un trés vif intérêt.
