Soft cover. Zustand: Good. 1980, back cover says 'Second Reprint'. On first sight this book looks like a lovely, clean glossy copy. Rear cover has the mildest surface wear, a few scratches, but a similar glossy feel. internally, all pages seem clean, bright no annotation. On closer inspection, however, numerous back pages have four small impacts that carry through those pages, not too bad on the white pages of text, but does affect just over 20 or so pages, until the impact fades out, and only making visual impact on the brown coloured double-page spread of the Pete Frame time-line, where four small white marks appear. Also, after the last page, numbered 174, the 'Publisher's note', the following final page has been torn out, right up to the crease, where a little raggedy remnant runs up the hinge of the rear card cover. Also, the capital letter 'D' written in blue ink on lower part of inner cover. Can't say what significance this missing page had, but I guess it's likely a glossy sepia photo to mirror the sepia double page spread found on front two end papers? So, listed as good, but feels better than that, despite defects. Not ex library, for sure. Seller images provided. For further helpful synopsis and reviews try clicking on 'bookseller image'.
