He is a former award-winning editor of the fabled British rock weekly Kerrang! and was editor-in-chief of Q magazine from 2002-2012. He has interviewed everyone from Paul McCartney, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, and Madonna to AC/DC, Noel Gallagher, Take That, and Adele. He is the author of six previous books, including the bestselling RobertPlant: A Life.
