Habeant igitur, qui antiquitatis studiosi sunt, hoc etiam, qualecumque est, de meis serinus munusculum, at ultimum tamen hujusrnodi; satis enim superque huic lit terarum generi datum est: tum alia profecto ad studia ut aliquando me conferam, non actas solum deflexa, sed vitae etiam ratio ct quam tueri debeo, ordinis dignims ad monet. Lure emm repetere solemus, ut vm gravia, sacerdotesque sacra impensius co lant, atque in his se exerceant est vero jam prae mauibus Opus auctoritatis Plenum et religionis, libri scilicet duodecim a viro sanctissimo et disertissimo, Gregorio Pon tifice Agrigeutinorum, mille et dueentrs ante annis in sacrum Ecclesiasten graece eon scripti, neque ad hanc diem in hominum lucem editi: quos Latinae consuetudini tra ditos ct commentario illustratos intra triennium, si Deus annuat, vulgare cogito.
