Voilà donc une traduction arabe du livre de Calila et Dimna échappée aux recherches de M. Silvestre de Sacy traduction qui ne fut pas faite d'après la version pehlvitique mais directement d'aprés l'original sanscrit.
Cette traduction arabe de Jacob fils de Schears, paraît être, au reste, postérieure à la version arabe d'abd-allah fils d'almo cañ'a; elle est peut-être celle qui a servi de texte àla version hébraïque.
