The canals, the slopes of the surface, etc., naturally divide the territory in question into eight principal drain age districts, which may be described substantially as follows: District A. Is bounded northerly by the river, easterly and south-easterly by Cedar street, Hampden Park, and Walnut street. South-westerly by Appleton street, and westerly by School street.
District B. Is bounded by the upper Level Canal, Dwight street and Maple street.
District 0. Comprises Ewingville and Manchester Grounds. So called, bounded easterly by School street and Linden street.
