Tom Watson offers straightforward advice for golfers in a series of illustrated lessons aimed at all players from beginners to experts. Beginning with a proper grip, the reader is taken through a good pre-shot routine, set-up and alignment and then shown how to make a real golf swing. By suggesting a series of simple drills, Watson shows how the basics can become automatic and the ball can be hit further and straighter every time. Tom Watson won the US Open in 1982, the Masters in 1977 and 1981 and the British Open in 1975, 1977, 1980, 1982 and 1983. He was the PGA Player of the Year for four consecutive years (five times overall). He also wrote the book, "Getting up and Down".
