This work deals with very common clinical problems: that of the patient with difficulty in keeping balance, with dizziness or difficulty in walking. Since such symptoms can be due to disorders of the brain, the ear, or of the joints and muscles in the legs, the contributors are a range of specialists. Both the physiological and clinical features of motor, vestibular and musculo-skeletal disorders are examined.
