MEI Structured Mathematics Second Edition is a series of student books that have been written to support the MEI scheme of the same name. Together, the books in the series cover all the modules in the scheme, adopting a practical, active approach designed to facilitate both independent and supported learning.
Pure Mathematics 5 covers the MEI Pure Mathematics 5 module. Earlier work in calculus, complex numbers and algebra is extended, allowing these areas of mathematics to be treated to a greater depth and with more sophistication. There are also two chapters on geometry, covering polar co-ordinates and conics.
