Reseña del editor

Packed with features to help students, teachers and lecturers, DiDA Unit 1: Using ICT is an essential resource for the core unit in the groundbreaking new ICT qualification. In full colour throughout, the text focuses on the knowledge and skills required to successfully complete the e-portfolio. Packed with advice on tackling the summative project briefs and constructing e-portfolios in line with the mark scheme, lesson starters, classwork and homework activities are also suggested. Skills and Skills Plus sections aid progression whilst self-assessment opportunities, mapped to the grading criteria, are included.

Examples are given from standard office software packages and Macromedia applications wherever relevant, and an indication is given as to the time resources to be allocated to each section - invaluable when it comes to delivering a representative e-portfolio on time.

The material has been reviewed by two of the pilot schools and is linked to a separate CD resource with many extra features to further aid delivery of DiDA. A home-licence student-version of this CD is included with the textbook
